Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or operational analysis.
  • This role requires strong data skills, financial awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly while managing independent responsibilities.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, expense tracking, financial reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is an asset.
  • Experience in energy efficiency programs, utility initiatives, or Indigenous community projects is an asset.
  • Assist with occasional program activities and travel within Indigenous communities when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude for analysis and reporting is preferred.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from approximately $26 to $28 per hour.
