About the role

  • Job Description We're seeking a Senior Clinical Training Advisor to join the Clinical Coding Review team.
  • You will facilitate a learning environment for clinical and non-clinical staff that results in effective new employee onboarding, ongoing quality improvement, and continuous learning.
  • Act as staff resource for clinical decision making and systems or process assistance.

Responsibilities

  • partner with business leaders to ensure business and training needs are met.
  • Develop and deliver new and reinforcement training based on needs (i.e. analysis of quality audit reviews, process changes)
  • Perform monthly clinical quality audits to review staff documentation, clinical decision making and processes
  • Collaborate with business area leaders to create, organize/maintain and communicate relevant training resources, job aids and/or process documentation
  • Facilitate classroom training as well as role progression/preceptor coordination and monitoring of early performance for new employees; partner with business leaders to ensure business and training needs are met.
  • Develop and deliver new and reinforcement training based on needs (i.e. analysis of quality audit reviews, process changes); may include one on one/remediation training as needed.
  • Collaborate with business area leaders to create, organize/maintain and communicate relevant training resources, job aids and/or process documentation; may include maintenance of departmental knowledge management site (i.e. SharePoint).
  • Facilitate business area systems testing when upgrades or changes are needed; create necessary testing plans, job aids, and relevant tracking/documentation.
  • Support digital process automation efforts and deployed bots through testing, staff training, and implementation follow up.
  • Support business area with system testing and process automation efforts.

Requirements

  • RN with 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Coordinate or support other quarterly and/or biannual audits as required by business area.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid North Carolina clinical license.
  • Bonus Points (preferred qualifications)
  • Background in operational, administrative, and clinical training
  • Experience with healthcare, non-patient facing business administration functions

Compensation

  • Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
  • Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
  • $81,068.00 - $129,708.00
