About the role

  • Work is performed in company-owned or personal vehicles.
  • If using a personal vehicle, mileage is paid.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an automobile around a predetermined route to survey the repair and service needs of sign and lighting components
  • Documents outages by taking pictures and notating other details per established procedures
  • Maintains records and logbooks
  • Performs cleaning, preventative, and operator maintenance on YESCO company vehicles if provided
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned
  • Interacts daily with supervisor, service, and sales employees in the field and in the office to discuss observations of possible sales/service leads and/or service issues

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • must have a state-issued driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to communicate in person
  • Ability to see from a distance
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to drive an automobile
