About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines supporting batch and real-time data processing.
- Architect and implement enterprise-scale data warehousing solutions, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Build and manage high availability (HA) and fault-tolerant data transformation pipelines.
- Develop and optimize real-time event-driven data architectures using streaming technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, product, engineering) to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Implement data quality, governance, and observability practices across the data platform.
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency across cloud-based data systems.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake (data modelling, performance tuning, ELT design).
- Proven experience building high availability and resilient data pipelines.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8 years +) as a Data Engineer in enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, streaming platforms).
- Experience with orchestration and workflow tools (e.g., Airflow).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and large-scale data transformations.
Nice to have
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
Skills
- Contribute to platform evolution, including tooling, frameworks, and best practices.
