About the role
- Shift: This is a 12 hour alternating night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Scheduled to work 7 days during a 14-day period (2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off).
- The Production Molding Operator - DMT I reports directly to an assigned Operations Leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform limited product visual and Manual inspections.
- Learn and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all products produced in the department, as well as all product quality specifications.
- Understand and interpret controlled documents including work Instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.

Requirements
- Prefer, but not limited to 0-1 years of experience working within a production setting, preferably injection molding presses (both electric & hydraulic).
- Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
- The incumbent may occasionally be required to lift to 20 lbs., frequently lift up to 10 lbs., occasionally pulling/pushing up to 30 lbs., frequently pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs., frequently carry up to 5 lbs.
- The incumbent must be willing and able to wear required PPE such as, safety glasses, face mask and/or shield, hearing protection, safety shoes, hair and beard net and smock.
- Committed- Possesses a sense of urgency (understands how to prioritize) and successfully completes required deliverables in a timely manner.
- For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

- HS/GED degree or equivalent experience preferred
