About the role

The Production Molding Operator - DMT I reports directly to an assigned Operations Leader.
They supply downstream equipment with quality molded components and ask technicians for help with any issues.

Perform limited product visual and Manual inspections.
Learn and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all products produced in the department, as well as all product quality specifications.
Understand and interpret controlled documents including work Instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.

Committed- Possesses a sense of urgency (understands how to prioritize) and successfully completes required deliverables in a timely manner.
Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
The incumbent may occasionally be required to lift to 20 lbs., frequently lift up to 10 lbs., occasionally pulling/pushing up to 30 lbs., frequently pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs., frequently carry up to 5 lbs.
The incumbent must be willing and able to wear required PPE such as, safety glasses, face mask and/or shield, hearing protection, safety shoes, hair and beard net and smock.
For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

HS/GED degree or equivalent experience preferred
Prefer, but not limited to 0-1 years of experience working within a production setting, preferably injection molding presses (both electric & hydraulic).
