Responsibilities

  • Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
  • Each day, you will drive to patients' homes to provide care and monitoring
  • You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
  • Must hold current unrestricted NJ and PA State LPN licenses
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Active and current American Heart Association BLS

Nice to have

  • Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital - Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas experience, preferred
  • Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred
  • Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferred

  • Here is what you can expect day-to-day as a Mobile Health Clinician -NJ at DocGo:
  • While at a patient's home, engage in assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system
  • Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system
  • Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population
  • Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
  • Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
