About the role
- You'll report directly to our VP of Operations and work closely with our founders on some of the company's highest-priority initiatives.
- The next you could be redesigning a sales process, evaluating a new AI workflow, or helping automate an internal process.
- This isn't a role where you'll inherit a checklist.
Responsibilities
- Find Insights: Build dashboards, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve growth, efficiency, and decision-making across the business.
- Build Systems: Improve Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Clay, and other business systems while helping evaluate and implement new tools as the company scales.
- Automate Work: Use AI, Claude Code, n8n, and modern automation tools to eliminate manual work and create leverage across every department.
- Partner Across the Business: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, People Operations, Finance, and Engineering on projects that improve how Shelf operates.
- Own Outcomes: Measure the impact of what you build, learn from the results, and continuously improve our systems, reporting, and processes.
Requirements
- Analytics: Strong experience turning data into actionable insights using SQL, Sigma, Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytics tools.
- Systems: Experience working with modern business systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Clay, Snowflake, Fivetran, or similar platforms.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Consulting, Strategy, Revenue Operations, Growth Operations, Venture Capital, or high-growth startup environments.
Skills
- Strong experience turning data into actionable insights using SQL, Sigma, Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytics tools.
