About the role
- Chipton-Ross is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Littleton, CO. Other locations include: Sunnyvale, CA, Houston, TX Denver, CO BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience synthesizing and building designs based on Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets: UltraScale Plus RT Polarfire Versal RTG4 Experience
- with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys Tools (Simulation, Lint/CDC, and Synthesis) Design experience using the following languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL Quick learner, someone who can get up to speed quickly with current designs Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation Experience with debugging designs both in the lab and in
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Client engineering team to debug or simulate Circuitware with Xilinx development tools, deliver FPGA RTL source code changes, test data and documentation as needed.
- Work with systems engineers and design engineers to develop concept of operations, design requirements, and assist verification engineers in the verification of FPGA designs.
Requirements
- Develop RTL/VHDL code, scripts, and other items required for the development of FPGAs, complete design and development, and provide self-test designer level testbench.
