About the role

Responsibilities
- Maintain and streamline case data with well-structured discovery and records organizational charts to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct vital research by issuing Public Records Requests and performing background investigations to support litigation strategy.
- Draft and prepare answers to Complaints. Support attorneys in depositions and discovery by preparing discovery requests and responses, witness disclosures, supporting declarations, and affidavits for ongoing matters.
- Support attorneys in depositions and discovery by summarizing transcripts, managing key documents, and ensuring timely follow-ups on requests.
- Manage and prepare document productions efficiently by reviewing, analyzing, and organizing files from insured.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain a strong team dynamic and ensure smooth case progression.
- Provide comprehensive trial preparation support, including deposition designations, witness and exhibit management, preparation of pretrial materials, and coordination of trial logistics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong preference for those with insurance defense experience.
- Tech-savvy with sophisticated technical skills, including proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Demonstrated experience billing time as a paralegal, with an understanding of law-firm billing practices and expectations.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, ensuring clarity in documentation and correspondence.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, balancing multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Proven ability to draft written discovery and maintain detailed records of received documents.
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented, with a keen ability to manage large volumes of case materials.
