About the role

  • Medpace's Information Technology team is looking for a full-time, office-based Software Engineer.
  • Strong attention to detail, desire for process ownership, and interest in implementing new technology are highly valued.
  • Contribute to software development team(s) for one or multiple software applications or initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build software applications and features in an Agile environment by following our software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
  • Contribute to requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance support of applications.
  • Perform high level end-user support including feature training and troubleshooting for applications.
  • In this role, you will work on a team that modernizes and supports Medpace's internal systems.
  • Collaborate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science At least 2 years of software development experience using C#, Angular or similar JavaScript framework, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, GitHub.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) including release management.
  • Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science At least 2 years of software development experience using C#, Angular or similar JavaScript framework, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, GitHub.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience using Azure and Entity Framework is a plus Prior experience modernizing systems is a plus Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
