About the role

  • Media Monitoring Associates are an indispensable part of the DNC's rapid response operation.
  • In real-time, they track and clip notable moments from news coverage, interviews and political commentary.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and clip short segments of media to share on social media platforms Provide concise summaries of audio and video content, including key points, context, and strategic alignment with DNC messaging Save and document content in coordination with the rest of the Rapid Response team and the Research Department

  • Our Media Monitoring Associates hold Republicans accountable by sharing strategic insights that support the DNC's opposition research program and other departments that produce public-facing content.

Compensation

  • The starting salary for the Media Monitoring Associate position is $54,100, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek.
  • This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
