About the role
- Job Description: AMA is currently accepting applications for a short term (4 week) summer internship position associated with the Aerothermodynamics branch in the Entry Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA.
- The pay rate for this position will be $29.50-$33.50 per hour and is commensurate with experience and education.
- AMA is a small business with a wide reach; headquartered in Hampton, VA, AMA has operations in Greenbelt, MD; Huntsville, AL; Dallas and Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Mountain View, CA; and Edwards Air Force Base, CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform research on assigned topic for period of 4 weeks
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Progress toward a degree (Undergraduate or graduate) in technical areas of relevance to entry systems
- With over 60 years of experience, AMA specializes in aerospace engineering, science, analytics, information technology, and visualization solutions.
Nice to have
- Candidates currently enrolled in an accredited university are highly preferred
