About the role
- We're seeking an experienced Physician or Nurse Practitioner to join LumiMeds' PC group and provide direct patient care via telehealth.
- In this role, you'll conduct virtual evaluations, review patient health data, and determine appropriate treatment plans based on your independent clinical judgment.
- You'll work closely with LumiMeds' care coordination and operations teams to ensure patients receive safe, compliant, and evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Document all encounters, decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support patient adherence and outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all applicable telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards
- This role is designed to support compliant, ethical, patient-first care
Requirements
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible to practice telemedicine in licensed states
- Active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority
- Board-certified (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
- Meets state requirements for telehealth practice
- Licensed in multiple U.S. states (30+ state coverage strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health
- Excellent clinical judgment, documentation skills, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote-first environment
Nice to have
- Prior telehealth experience preferred
Compensation
- Competitive per-visit or contract-based compensation (role-dependent)
