Responsibilities
- Ciena is seeking a Global Commodity Manager focused on Indium Phosphide (InP) to drive supplier strategy, technology alignment, and supply continuity across a global foundry ecosystem.
- This role connects internal engineering, product, and operations teams with external partners to enable scalable innovation and cost competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology development programs
- MBA, Master's degree, or PhD
Skills
- Establish supplier governance frameworks including business reviews, performance management, and roadmap alignment
- Align supplier capabilities with internal product roadmaps, NPI requirements, and long-term technology strategies
Compensation
- The salary range for this role in Canada is $97, 300 - $155, 300
- Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
