About the role

We are looking for a sharp, analytically driven Sr.
Sports Analyst to join our Sports Analytics team.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated analytical thinker who thrives in collaborative environments to inform key business decisions.

Efficiently manage and deliver multiple short- and long-term projects at pace
Lead the analytics strategy within the Sports Analytics team in collaboration with the Sports SLT
Build and maintain a range of complex datasets, reports and dashboards
Design and evaluate controlled experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to drive incremental business value
Build agents and automations to automate manual tasks and processes

4+ years commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science
Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R)
Strong analytical communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical and senior audiences
Experience leading analytical strategies across the commercial business
Experience designing and analysing A/B or multivariate tests to evaluate commercial interventions
Experience working with large and sometimes incomplete and complex data sets
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations.
Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.

Prior experience in a regulated sports betting or iGaming environment is preferred
