ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained prior to completion orientation and independent assignment.

Position Summary
Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge.
The Registered Nurse is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff, precept students, and assume relief charge nurse duty as oriented and assigned.
The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care to all patient populations in OPSC during hours on duty.
The Perioperative Registered Nurse possesses skills and knowledge to competently provide appropriate nursing care within the OPSC care areas of Admitting, PACU, and/or Endoscopy.
Must be able to take call per hospital on-call policy guidelines.
Minimum one year of Telemetry experience.
Critical care experience preferred.
