- Corporate Controller - Construction Accounting Job Overview Red Cedar Construction Services is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our finance and accounting leadership team.
- This role will oversee, coordinate, and supervise accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, job costing, and administrative finance functions across a fast-paced construction and project-based business environment.
Responsibilities
- Red Cedar Construction Services, LLC is a general contracting firm specializing in the construction of high quality, Build-to-Rent (BTR) and multifamily communities across the Southeast, with active operations in Charlotte, NC and surrounding markets.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License

- Red Cedar Construction Services is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our finance and accounting leadership team.
- This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance as the company continues to grow.
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, construction accounting systems, Smartsheet, BuildPro, Brixx, or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise accounting staff to ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and/or oversee monthly financial reports, including budget-to-actual analysis, project cost reporting, cash flow reporting, work-in-progress reporting, and management review packages.
- Work closely with the CFO and executive leadership to update business plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Compensation
- $120,000-$150,000 base.
