Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing integrity to ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and financial standards.
- Support medication‑safety initiatives, regulatory readiness, and quality‑improvement activities within the outpatient pharmacy setting.
- Manage day‑to‑day prescription processing workflows, including drop‑off, data entry, filling, verification, and patient pickup.
Requirements
- License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Licensure as a Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Immunization Administration Certificate required within 90 days of hire.
- Preceptor certification through the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required within 18 months of hire.
Skills
- Foundational knowledge of outpatient, retail, and/or specialty pharmacy practice.
- Strong communication, empathy, and customer‑service skills when engaging with patients and care teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing systems, EMRs, technology platforms, and billing systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to medication safety.
