About the role
- The EMT assists with the necessary treatment and care of patients, whether ill or injured, during the transport, by ground or air ambulance, and in the pre-hospital setting or from one healthcare facility to another.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED) required
Nice to have
- Relevant EMS experience with direct patient care required.
- 6 months of emergency vehicle operation experience, strongly preferred.
- National Registry EMT Certification (NREMT) (required)
- Must obtain additional state certification/licensure within 1 year of hire as explained below
- BCLS Certification (required)
- NIMS (required within 1 year of hire)
- HAZMAT Awareness (required within 1 year of hire)
- EVOC (required within 1 year of hire)
Compensation
- Salary Range: Min $21.69 Mid $27.95 Max $34.20
Benefits
- They must also obtain a New York Emergency Medical Services EMT Certification within 1 year of hire
- They must also obtain a Vermont Office of Emergency Medical Services EMT Licensure within 1 year of hire

- If an employee is assigned to a Vermont location, they must obtain a Vermont Office of Emergency Medical Services EMT Licensure within 14 days of start.
