About the role
- Hyundai Santa Monica, a leading Automotive Dealership, is seeking a highly motivated Express Service Technician.
- We're open to candidates with retail experience from AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, or independent shops.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
- Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Requirements
- If you have at least 1 year experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician, we want to hear from you.
- 18 years or older required
Nice to have
- Great opportunity for UTI or other automotive trade school graduates!
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician.
Compensation
- The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00.
