About the role
- You'll need to be technically excellent - superb modeling skills and comfort getting deep in the data details are baseline expectations.
- Present analysis to senior and cross-functional audiences - crafting compelling narratives that surface key strategic decisions, not just data
Responsibilities
- In this role, you'll partner with business leaders across the company to understand performance, evaluate investments, and help shape our path to sustainable growth and increased profitability.
- Take a leadership role in internal team meetings; coach and motivate junior team members and drive process improvements across the finance function
- Build and maintain complex financial models and reports in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Help build finance's reputation as a strategic partner by consistently delivering actionable insights to the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, analytics, economics, or a related quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or business analytics
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-paced tech environment, ideally a marketplace business
Skills
- Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities across all functions
- Play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles
- Excellent financial modeling skills with a hands-on approach to data and model construction
Compensation
- At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
- The base pay range for this position is $128,000-$155,000.
- This range is representative of base pay only and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.
