About the role

Promoting good communication within the robotic department as well as other departments to ensure a quality product is essential.
PAY RATE: Hourly ($38.60-$44USD based on experience
Primary Work location - 1811 S Range Rd, St Clair, MI 48079, United States

Work closely with Robotic supervisor/s and department leads on continuous improvement; in order to maintain competitive edge in the automotive industry
Maintain and support departments developments and documents
Program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programming
Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy (GM MPS)
The Robotic Lead will be responsible for completing the setup and installation of GM configured robots from a single robot to multiple robot cells.

Able to Lead small a team of robotic programmers with multiple robots at once

Knowledge and experience using Fanuc DCS software
Degree, Diploma or Certificate from a Mechatronics
Working knowledge of communication protocols (Enet IP)
Perform other reasonable duties as required
Successful candidates will possess programming capability, as well as have demonstrated experience with good troubleshooting, startup support, and set direction for other robotic team members.
Robot programmer will ensure all equipment is in a working order and will assist and train other robot techs as required.
