About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as defined in division document control policies and procedures.
  • Document and manage the flow of non-conforming material and the Corrective and Preventive Action database.
  • Support program managers by participating in design development projects that ensure Quality Assurance and with an understanding of the customer needs.
  • Design, document and implement methods for metrology process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  • Analyze production proficiencies, including cycle time, scrap breakdown and deadlines. Implements improvement methods for cost effectiveness and run time.

Skills

  • ISO 9000:2015 and ISO 13485 Quality System.
  • Function as an information source to various company departments when special and critical quality and quality systems issues occur.
  • Implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls.
  • Associates degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in quality systems auditing
  • Sound knowledge of standard measuring equipment
  • Strong math skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Must be familiar with computers and MS Office computer software.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
