About the role
- WireScreen's Research team sits at the heart of our business.
- Research Associates work with our talented engineers to enrich WireScreen data with industry intelligence, Chinese market insights, and relevant supply chain risk information based on a rapidly evolving global economy.
- Researchers curate these structured datasets of companies, people, and relationships by tracing ownership, subsidiaries, and affiliations across borders and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Customer Support & Enablement: Educate customer-facing teams on how data collections are built and validated, and partner cross-functionally to scope and develop new collections based on customer demand and research capabilities.
- Document Analysis: Analyze a range of corporate documents in both Chinese and English to verify and ensure data integrity.
- Can manage competing priorities, move with urgency, and consistently delivery high-quality work.
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience in investigations, corporate due diligence, business intelligence, forensic research, KYC/AML, or similar primary-source research roles.
- Have strong technical proficiency and the ability to adapt to new tools and software swiftly.
