- Your Opportunity Taylor Print & Visual Impressions is looking for a Pre Production Manager in our Duluth GA facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the PrePress, Scheduling, Planning, and Purchasing teams.
- Manage purchasing activities to ensure material availability and supplier performance.
- Monitor key performance metrics and utilize data to drive operational decisions.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow and throughput.
- Partner with the Production Manager to ensure seamless transition of work to the manufacturing floor.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and customer service.
- Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain production schedules that align customer requirements with operational capacity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, purchasing, production control, or operations leadership.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production processes, and process controls.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
