Responsibilities
- BaRupOn is seeking a detail-oriented and field-capable Civil Engineer to support the design, permitting, and construction of critical infrastructure projects in Liberty, TX and surrounding areas.
- Develop and review civil design plans including grading, site layout, stormwater management, and utility coordination
- Provide engineering support throughout construction, including RFIs, submittals, and field changes
- Ensure civil designs meet local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., TCEQ, TxDOT, county codes)
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams on integrated energy systems
- Maintain project records, drawings, and technical documentation
- Support project scheduling, cost control, and materials planning Qualifications
- Construction support or field engineering background
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of site development, structural foundations, drainage, and utility coordination with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and constructability.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 10+ years of experience in civil/site design, preferably in utility or energy infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- EIT certification required; PE license in Texas preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Experience with renewable energy or energy storage projects
