  • The Patient Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of customer service and patient care tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Will maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • systems and on written documents.
  • Performs all duties within HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • For Mobile Radiology and Oncology, CPR Certification must be obtained prior to hire.
  • As applicable, valid state driver's license required.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
  • Local travel may be required to support multiple sites.
  • All candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

  • For Fixed Radiology, CPR Certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

  • The estimated hourly pay range for this role in Washington is $18-20.

  • Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.

  • Greets and assists patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
  • Will perform patient registration in various systems.
  • Answers all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • May collect monies for time-of-service patient responsibility.
  • May be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization.
