About the role

This role requires technical skill, industry knowledge, regulatory expertise and business acumen.
This position is based in our Parsippany, NJ corporate headquarters which currently operates on a hybrid in-office schedule.
Provide expert regulatory guidance and leadership to the business regarding compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to product development, product management and safety.

Build out GAF's regulatory compliance program, including internal policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards related to our products.
Collaborate with legal and other teams to develop corrective actions and strategies for addressing non-compliance issues.
Work with the product management team to assess product and market risks and proactively develop risk management measures for affected product lines.
Develop resources, such as regulatory summary documents, tracking sheets and quarterly updates for business partners and/or senior leadership on regulatory requirements, developments and trends.
Strong internal partnership skills and experience working cross-functionally to align goals and implement processes.

Bachelor's Degree in related field required
Minimum 5 years experience in regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing regulatory compliance programs.
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks and regulations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders.
Proven self-starter, results-oriented, high-energy team player with demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Ability to assume ownership and work independently with minimal supervision.
