About the role

Works as team leader on new installations and remodeling projects.
Provides instruction and training to Maintenance I, IA, and II personnel who are assigned to work for him/her.
Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical equipment, including but not limited to, appliances, machinery, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, and sterilizers.
Repairs and maintains heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, including calibration and repair of associated controls.
Performs general electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
Assists with operation and fine-tuning of the building energy management system.
Drives hospital vehicles on hospital campus, to satellite facilities, Indianapolis and surrounding areas to perform job duties, deliver, or pick up replacement or repair parts.

High school diploma or GED with five years of experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work, with apprenticeship preferred.
Trade school diploma or associate degree (minimum one year), or apprenticeship in either electrical, plumbing, or HVAC trade.
General maintenance experience in buildings, plant, and equipment also required.
