Responsibilities

Develop and maintan a master production schedule to ensure balanced workloads and optimal resource utilization.
Collaborate with production planners, team leads, supply chain and engineering personnel to align production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory goals.
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks to maintain a smooth workflow.
Partner with operational teams to ensure resources (labor, equipment, materials) are aligned with production requirements.
Create and present detailed reports to upper management on plant capacity, production performance, and resource utilization.
Develop and monitor dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling and capacity planning.
Implement and refine scheduling processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Identify and recommend process improvements to support manufacturing and operational excellence.
The Master Scheduler will play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and will serve as a primary liaison for reporting capacity levels to upper management, providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
The candidate will also be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
3-10 years of experience in master scheduling, production scheduling, capacity planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with the specific needs of production in a make-to-order manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

APICS/ASCM CPIM certification preferred
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Infor Syteline preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
