About the role

This position requires strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential and interruptions are frequent.
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Technician also administers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments, obtains prior authorizations, and coordinates the scheduling of TMS services.
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Technician may facilitate welfare checks and utilize de-escalation techniques during telephone interactions when clinically indicated.

The technician assists patients with completing self-assessment tools and prepares, processes, and tracks forms and documents requiring provider review, input, or signature.
Throughout these situations, the technician maintains ongoing communication with the provider and ensures appropriate documentation of interventions, communications, and outcomes.

National Healthcareer Association certification or equivalent must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Previous experience with mental health/substance abuse patients is preferred.
