About the role
- Our auto auctions some up to 200 acres, provide a wide array of vehicle services including repair, reconditioning, and auction remarketing, and many of our sites serve as market hub distribution centers.
- Our inventory comprises hundreds of thousands of vehicles across North America from retail to commercial, OEM & more.
- This position reports to the Mechanic Shop or designated manager.
Responsibilities
- As an entry level mechanic in our high production mechanic shop, you will support the mechanic shop by performing light mechanical work. This position reports to the Mechanic Shop or designated manager.

- Provide prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers. Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment
Requirements
- 6 months of experience in automotive repair or related trade school experience
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Hardworking, motivated team player
- Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.
- Constant - standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking, reaching, grasping, stooping, repetitive motion, pulling
- Potential - running, jumping, yelling or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow company operating procedures
- Interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment
Compensation
- $19-$21 hourly
