About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector (CI) to provide full‑time, on‑site inspection and documentation services for a major U.S. Coast Guard infrastructure recapitalization project.
This position serves as an advisor to the Government's project team and does not direct contractor means or methods.
Competitive salary of $110,000 - $120,000 / year depending on experience.

Perform daily on‑site inspections of mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and architectural work.
Document progress through Daily Construction Reports, photos, and a bound daily diary.
Track field tests, verify quantities, and maintain organized project files.

Selected candidate may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Ability to walk, climb, stoop, lift 50 lbs, and work in tunnels, basements, roofs, ladders, and adverse weather.
Conduct monthly labor interviews and submit required documentation.
All required equipment-including laptop, camera, PPE, measuring tools, and office supplies-will be provided.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field + 5 years construction experience

$110,000 - $120,000/year depending on experience
This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to: hiring, placement, promotion, termination, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
