About the role
- We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector (CI) to provide full‑time, on‑site inspection and documentation services for a major U.S. Coast Guard infrastructure recapitalization project.
- This position serves as an advisor to the Government's project team and does not direct contractor means or methods.
- Competitive salary of $110,000 - $120,000 / year depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily on‑site inspections of mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and architectural work.
- Document progress through Daily Construction Reports, photos, and a bound daily diary.
- Track field tests, verify quantities, and maintain organized project files.

- Selected candidate may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to walk, climb, stoop, lift 50 lbs, and work in tunnels, basements, roofs, ladders, and adverse weather.
- Conduct monthly labor interviews and submit required documentation.
- All required equipment-including laptop, camera, PPE, measuring tools, and office supplies-will be provided.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field + 5 years construction experience

Compensation
- $110,000 - $120,000/year depending on experience
- This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to: hiring, placement, promotion, termination, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
