About the role
- This job sets up sterile field, gathers supplies for surgical cases based on knowledge of instruments and equipment to be used.
- The Surgical Technologist III role passes instruments to surgeons during surgery.
- This role also formulates plans for procedures with nurses and surgeons.
Responsibilities
- The Surgical Technologist III (operating room scrub technician) possesses advanced skills in assigned specialty area and maintains knowledge and skills to function competently on any team based on departmental needs.
Requirements
- TS-C or CORST required
Nice to have
- 3-5 years experience as a surgical technologist or related scrub technician position, with 2 years in a specific practice area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or a military training program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
- Independent action(s) required:
- Job duties may include the handling, transportation, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies.
Compensation
- $50k-$100k
