Responsibilities
- Eurofins is one of the market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics, discovery pharmacology, forensics, advanced material sciences and in the support of clinical studies, as well as having an emerging global presence in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations.
- The Group also has a rapidly developing presence in highly specialised and molecular clinical diagnostic testing and in-vitro diagnostic products.
- Performs various ancillary tasks to maintain continuous smooth operation of Processing Area.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies, reagents and material - notify supervisor, manager or director immediately when faced with shortage of supplies.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately follow and remember written instructions
- Ability to type 55 WPM
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a team
- Ability to change and move in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply learned concepts to troubleshoot novel situations
Nice to have
- Occasional schedule flexibility
- Strong understanding of Good Documentation/Laboratory Practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate manual and automated single and multichannel pipettes.
- Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgements and decisions.
- Wednesday - Saturday, 8AM-6:30PM (10 hr shifts)
Skills
- Ability to continuously operate a computer, analytical instrument, or liquid handling platform for extended periods of time.
