About the role
- The Cardiac Monitor Tech job provides continuous observation, interpretation, documentation and communication of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient cardiac rhythms.
- Requires prior approval or guidance from supervisor for time/schedule changes, legal issues, directed care which deviates from standard, and identification of educational resources to meet developmental needs.
- Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.

- Independent action(s) required:
- Functions under direction of RN in interpreting, documenting and reporting cardiac rhythms, maintaining and problem solving monitoring system
- all in accordance with hospital, nursing and unit policy/procedure.
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent preferred
