Responsibilities
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with the Vice President(s) of Operations and Vice President(s) of Field Operations
- Participates in, or may lead, the business development process, including the establishment and management of client relationships, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and trade partners
- Responsible for understanding and negotiating prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements
- Mentors and develops Project Managers for future leadership roles
Requirements
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and effectively communicate with others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience leading project teams and successfully achieving project goals
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, General Superintendent or similar
- Positive and teachable attitude
- Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
