About the role

  • At Landrum & Brown, we're looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Aviation Environmental Planners.

  • Over the last three decades, one of the most important issues facing airports is the increasing requirement to fulfill environmental regulations and permits, as well as demonstrate leadership in reducing the environmental impact of the airport.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Excellence: Implement our top-notch Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures.
  • Be a Problem Solver: Conduct environmental impact analyses and technical studies to support airport-related initiatives.
  • Build Your Expertise: Take ownership of specialized tasks, such as GIS database maintenance or noise monitoring.
  • Collaborate and Grow: Work closely with a dynamic team, coordinate with interns, and communicate effectively across practices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with NEPA documentation or airport consulting?

Nice to have

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban or Environmental Planning is preferred.
  • Technical know-how in data analysis, AutoCAD, or GIS is a plus.
