About the role
- You'll work with our Corporate & Transactional Business Development Team, primarily supporting the Capital Markets & Public Companies practice areas.
- In this role, you'll coordinate and execute strategic business development plans, projects, and initiatives across multiple offices.
- Maintaining an in-office presence is important to delivering our services through an integrated and collaborative work culture.
Responsibilities
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple business and client development projects, demonstrating flexibility as priorities evolve.
- Drive projects from development through completion while ensuring deliverables remain on schedule and within scope.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work product while managing multiple deadlines.
- Work with the Marketing and Events teams to develop event content, identify business generation opportunities, and coordinate post-event follow-up.
- Manage, monitor, and track business development initiatives to support department goals and strategic priorities.
- Leverage firm tools to manage data, conduct research using internal and external resources, and create tracking tools, reports, and databases that support business development activities.
- Collect, maintain, organize, and track representative matters and experience information in the firm's experience database to support pitches, RFP responses, marketing materials, and other business development initiatives.
- Innovation Focus: Support lawyers advising clients in practice areas at the forefront of evolving legal and business challenges.
- Career Development: Build specialized knowledge in high-growth practice areas while taking on increasingly strategic projects with opportunities to demonstrate impact and advance your career.
- Proven success developing and implementing strategic business development plans and initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience managing mid- to large-scale projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed environment across multiple business units and functional teams.
- Innovative, highly motivated, and self-directed, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications, along with the ability to quickly learn new technology and software.
Compensation
- $91,500.00 to $146,325.00.
- The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
- The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
- Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
- The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
- If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
- For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is: $91,500.00 to $146,325.00.
