About the role

  • Job Description: North America Casualty Manager Huntsman is seeking a North America Casualty Manager supporting the Global Risk Management and Insurance Division located in The Woodlands, Texas.
  • This position will report to the Director, Global Risk Management and Insurance.
  • Job Scope The North America Casualty Manager is responsible for the strategic management of the organization's casualty insurance programs across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • The role partners closely with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, EHS, Legal, Procurement, and Finance, as well as external brokers, carriers, and OCIP administrators, to manage complex casualty risks inherent in chemical manufacturing environments while optimizing total cost of risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in casualty insurance and risk management, including North American programs.
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Nice to have

  • Industry experience in manufacturing, energy, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Professional credentials such as ARM, CPCU, or equivalent.
  • Experience with self-insured or large deductible casualty programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks and board-level reporting.
  • Working Environment
  • Up to 20% domestic travel within North America.
