About the role

Responsibilities
- Build rapid prototypes, Proofs of Concept, and pilots to validate customer and community use cases
- Design, develop, and deploy custom integrations of Speechmatics' APIs in diverse environments
- Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to optimise deployments for accuracy, scalability, and performance
- Develop technical assets (sample apps, starter kits, code snippets, workshops) that help developers build successfully with our APIs
- Support installation, operational best practices, and successful adoption across deployments
- Comfortable building rapid prototypes and production-grade integrations
- Able to turn incomplete ideas into scalable, well-designed solutions
- Motivated by impact, ownership, and building things that ship
- Create high-impact demos for customers, events, hackathons, and developer audiences

Compensation
- Competitive salary plus OTE or bonus, with great additional benefits.
- $100,000 - $150,000 USD

- Strong software engineering background with deep API integration experience
- Proficient in modern web technologies (TypeScript, SvelteKit, React); full-stack capability preferred
- Clear, confident communicator, equally effective with engineers, customers, and developer audiences
- Passion for Voice AI, conversational interfaces, and developer experience
- Experience engaging technical communities (talks, workshops, open-source, technical content)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
