About the role
- This position will work full-time from our Santa Monica, CA office.
- With offices nationwide and more than 150 insurance professionals, including 30+ credentialed actuaries, Perr&Knight is among the largest independent actuarial and insurance consulting firms in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle close process, including accruals, deferrals, and journal entries.
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing (bi-weekly) for regular, seasonal employees using a payroll processing platform
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Finance
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams)
- Advanced knowledge of accounting/billing systems software, especially QuickBooks.
- Advanced communication, customer service and organizational skills
- CPA/tax preparation experience a plus but not required
