About the role

  • Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Fleet Compliance Manager to lead our US Operations and oversee all fleet regulatory compliance activities across our transportation operations.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local transportation regulations, including DOT, FMCSA,, driver qualification requirements, vehicle maintenance compliance, licensing, and safety programs.
  • The Fleet Compliance Manager will partner with Fleet Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and field leadership teams to establish best practices, mitigate risk, maintain audit readiness, and promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building's outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, CDL, driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations, IFTA knowledge
  • Experience managing audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency with fleet management systems, compliance software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting Multi state fleet Operations
  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, Safety Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience or or 10 years work experience in a similar Fleet Compliance Manager role.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Construction, industrial services or commercial fleet experience
