- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and work orders.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily engineering and maintenance operations throughout the hotel.
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, and other building systems.
- Maintain the appearance of guest corridors, public spaces, and exterior areas.
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and hotel leadership to support daily operations.
- Develop and maintain engineering SOPs and quality control procedures.
- Coach, support, and hold team members accountable to performance expectations.
Requirements
- Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and property improvement projects.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond calmly to unexpected situations.
