About the role
- A Process Specialist will identify and pursue opportunities for making products and processes more robust and reliable through project delivery, process control, systems implementation, and personnel development.
- Analyze, interpret, and compile a variety of data to complete work requests and make recommendations for changes that promote continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Work with the project team to help define the scope, estimate the cost, identify the resources needed, provide a timeline, provide installation and operational support from a process perspective for product, equipment, and process changes.
- Develop and document process controls Utilize appropriate tools/data to define, measure, and generate solutions to improve the capability of each process for achieving established Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and productivity targets.
- Optimize processes Identify/lead improvements to equipment, products, materials, resources, procedures, etc.
- Lead efforts with the Process Technicians to develop/improve standards and process controls.
- Lead / participate in cross-functional teams in continuous and reliability improvement projects, and root cause analysis activities.
- Personnel development Develop and provide planned/structured training for others (e.g. Process Technicians) to increase overall competence and skill base.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Mini Tab, Python, Matlab, Quality Window, MS Access, Visual Basic, Agilent VEE, etc. and basic statistics is desired Demonstrated proficiency with project management software.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software.
Skills
- Utilize analytical troubleshooting skills to resolve process outages resulting in improved product, machine, and people performance.
