Responsibilities

  • As an Environmental Services Technician, you'll perform a variety of housekeeping and environmental services duties that help keep our facility operating at the highest standard.
  • Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepare them for new patients while adhering to isolation precautions when applicable.
  • Operate and properly maintain environmental services equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and carpet shampooers.
  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed to support cleaning and operational needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and promptly report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards.
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts, including assisting with evacuations and maintaining safe building entrances during inclement weather.

Requirements

  • The ability to follow established procedures while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and move equipment throughout the shift.
