Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise and support to client companies
- Demonstrates an ability to work productively in high pressure environment and effectively and proactively manage challenging situations.
- Actively supports the departmental management by providing input, assisting in training, leading team discussions, participating in projects, and being a positive contributor to the resolution of technical or client issues
- Reporting to the Director of Underwriting, our underwriting professionals support our clients' outsourced underwriting needs in the analysis and evaluation of mortality and morbidity risks.
Requirements
- College diploma / University degree or equivalent working experience
- English is required as we need to communicate orally and in writing with a predominantly English-speaking clientele based outside of Quebec.
- Minimum of 6 years of individual life underwriting experience including experience with substandard business, medical and financial underwriting
- Service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our internal and external partners
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Bilingual French/English (oral and written) is an asset. English is required as we need to communicate orally and in writing with a predominantly English-speaking clientele based outside of Quebec.
- Multiple lines of business (Life, DI, CI) an asset

Compensation
- $87,500.00 - $109,400.00 Annual
- Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location.
- In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
