About the role

  • As a Water / Wastewater Project Manager, you will be part of a leadership team dedicated to providing world class service to our clients by leading the day-to-day management of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage project team members
  • Train and develop direct reports utilizing on the job and internal and external training or development opportunities
  • Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms
  • Full-service electrical contractor with the experience and capabilities to construct, rehabilitate, and maintain electrical and special systems for railways, airports, highways and utilities nationwide.

Requirements

  • 8+ years construction experience required
  • Project management and installation experience in the water/ wastewater industry
  • Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
  • minimum 4 years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of industry, state, and local code requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret all contract drawings such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security and Architectural.
  • Experience with water/wastewater construction and installation projects
  • You are expected to monitor and respond to communications (phone calls, emails, text messages) as required to address these situations effectively.
  • Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in engineering or business a plus
  • Working for an electrical contractor on large scale construction
  • DBIA and LEED Accreditation
  • Mass transit and rail, highway, aviation, or other infrastructure project experience
  • The Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role.
  • You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists.
  • The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • You'll need to be comfortable frequently lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

  • For this role the base salary range is $105,000-130,000.
