About the role

  • You will then learn how to apply the knowledge and techniques of advanced mathematics and engineering to the planning, designing, development, and construction of transportation projects.
  • Here is some important information about this position:
  • Salary: Engineer II - $41.25, Engineer I - $36.83 (criteria below)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a variety of activities throughout the engineering project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, materials research, design and concept development, scoping, environmental assessments, safety planning, specifications, scheduling, and revisions.
  • Assist in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation facilities.
  • Prepare engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
  • You will learn engineering principles in a variety of areas including design, materials, hydraulics, planning, right-of-way, structures, traffic, construction, etc.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, or higher, in a Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • A bachelor's degree, or higher, in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least two years of post-graduate engineering experience.
