About the role
- The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department/Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary or specialty medical care within Pediatric ENT Outpatient clinical setting.
- This position is located in Milwaukee, W I at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus.
- The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will, have an independent ambulatory practice working in conjunction with the Department's Pediatric Otolaryngology Division specialist to staff his/her own clinics seeing new and established patients.
- The APP will work in support of the specialists with complicated patients and ensure appropriate continuity of care for all program patients.
Requirements
- Preferred Experience:
- Minimum Education:
- Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC- PA-accredited organization.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced Practice Nurse/ Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Wisconsin RN License
- Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- Certification Requirements (multi-select which are applicable for position):
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Nice to have
- Previous APP ENT experience preferred.
- Open to new grads or experienced APPs (prefered)
